Abstract:
      The development of analytical theory of wave propagation is briefly reviewed and several analysis methods dealing with viscoelastic wave propagation are introduced in detail.The Laplace transform method and its application in viscoelastic wave propagation and its advantage and disadvantage are described,compared and analyzed.The comparison shows that Laplace transform method has its unique advantage in dealing with the problems of stress wave propagation in large concrete components as it can accurately describe the fluctuation of stress wave at any time and any point.
