Abstract:
      A comprehensive optimization method of composite laminate stacking sequences and structural shapes is proposed.Firstly,a comprehensive optimization model is established,including composite laminate stacking sequences and shape variables defined by shape basis vectors.The optimal problem is formulated with mixed variables including continuous and discrete variables.Secondly,a two-level multipoint approximation algorithm is improved with adding shape variables and their sensitivities.The shape variables are integrated into the outer GA which is improved in the hybrid coding,the generation of initial population,individual fitness and operators to deal with comprehensive optimization.An optimization system is developed and applied to a 2D plate model and a 3D cylinder.The results of numerical examples verify the feasibility and effectiveness of this method,and the weight reduction effect of comprehensive optimization is better than that of separate optimization.Furthermore,the system is also applied to a satellite structure,which shows its feasibility in engineering application.
