Abstract:
A ultra-large spacecraft is a significant space infrastructure for the exploration and utilization of space resources, and also an important aerospace equipment to achieve the goal of becoming a powerful space nation. With its ultra-large size, ultra-flexible structure, and ultra-low fundamental frequency, ultra-large spacecrafts present new challenges in terms of dynamic modeling, numerical analysis, precise attitude control, low-frequency vibration suppression, and wave characteristics adjustment. This paper introduces our research progress for the above problems based on symplectic methods, including on-orbit coupling dynamics and attitude control, wave analysis and control, design of deployable space structures, and variable-stiffness active control methods.
