Abstract:
Peridynamic (PD) theory can overcome the shortcomings of Classical Continuum Mechanics (CCM) in simulating crack initiation and crack propagation. In this paper,a general anisotropic PD plate model is proposed based on the micro-beam bond, and the effect of anisotropy on the crack propagation path of a plate is discussed.Firstly, the general anisotropic micro-beam bond was established, and the strain energy density of the general anisotropic PD plate model was determined by interpolation method.Secondly, the general anisotropic parameters of the PD plate constitutive model were obtained by equating the strain energy densities of PD and CCM theories. Finally, the general isotropic PD plate model was established by parametric degradation, and the effects of anisotropy on the plate crack propagation path were studied by a pre-notched plate under tension condition.
