Abstract:
      This paper presents a simple method to realize topology optimization of simplified convective heat transfer structure based on COMSOL.Topology optimization of simplified convective heat transfer can be used to obtain a better performance of the conceptual design of a heat dissipation structure,but the lack of a feasible and widely applicable implementation method leads to a high technical threshold for engineering applications.In order to solve this problem,this research firstly establishes a governing equation for simplifying convective heat transfer analysis that can be used in the COMSOL by introducing a convective heat transfer term into the classical heat transfer equation.Then,with the help of the heat transfer analysis module and topology optimization module provided by COMSOL,a simplified topology optimization framework for convective heat transfer structures is built.The numerical example considers the classical two-dimensional and three-dimensional simplified convection heat transfer structure optimization design problems.The results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
