Abstract: |
Based on the Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics method, the particle model of a gear pump housing and the internal fluid is constructed, and the flow characteristics of the internal gear pump under different working conditions are simulated numerically.Firstly, the pump inlet and outlet pressure with uniform distribution is set to obtain the stable flow rate consistent with the test results, and the relationship between the flow rate and the speed is linear at low and medium speeds.Aiming at the problem of oil pump flow decrease at high speed, the flow decrease was reflected by appropriately reducing the number of fluid particles in the periodic model, and the simulation results of continuous speed flow consistent with the test value were obtained.Aiming at the clearance and cavitation phenomena which affect the performance of a gear pump, a corresponding approximate treatment method is given according to the characteristics of the model.Through the above research, the SPH method is successfully applied to the analysis and calculation of oil pump problems. |
