Abstract:
      In this paper,a viscous fluid damper is used as an external device for vibration control.The main bridge is modelled as an Euler-Bernoulli beam.The factors affecting the resonant response of a bridge structure under the action of three types of high speed trains CRH380AL,Shinkansen700 and HSLMA8 are studied.The vibration reduction effect of viscous damper coefficient and placement position on the vibration response of bridge structure are also studied.The results show that:(1) Through reasonable and effective arrangement of train wheelbase,the train speed corresponding to the fundamental frequency resonance of the bridge structure can be kept out of the operating speed range,which avoids the large vibration response of the bridge structure,that is,the fundamental frequency resonance of the bridge structure.(2) With the increase of the damping coefficient of the viscous damper,the peak acceleration of the bridge is decreasing at different speeds of the train,and the vibration of bridge has different degrees of vibration reduction effect.(3) The resonance response of the bridge structure under high speed train can be effectively reduced through the rational placement of liquid viscous damper.(4) The damping effect of the viscous damper becomes more obvious as the connection point of the viscous damper and the main beam is gradually placed near the support.(5) As the connection point between the viscous damper and the abutment gradually near the support,the vibration reduction effect of the viscous damper is slightly improved,but this improvement is not obvious.
