Abstract:
      Based on the experimental study of axial compression of recycled concrete filled square steel tube-profile steel short columns,the finite element model in Abaqus is established by combining the existing nonlinear analysis theory with selecting reasonable constitutive relation of recycled concrete and steel.The nonlinear analysis of the axial compression performance of composite short columns is carried out and the failure modes,stress distribution and load-strain relationship is mainly studied.Meanwhile,the influences of recycled aggregate replacement rate,width thickness ratio of square steel tube,steel ratio and strength of recycled concrete on the axial compression behavior of short columns are also been analyzed.The finite element results are in good agreement with the experimental results and the finite element model can well simulate the axial compression performance of recycled concrete filled square steel tube-profile steel short columns;The axial bearing capacity of composite columns decreases with the increase of recycled aggregate replacement rate.However,the width thickness ratio of square steel tube,steel ratio and strength of recycled concrete are all beneficial to improve the bearing capacity of composite columns.In general,the composite short columns have high bearing capacity and good deformation ability.The conclusions can provide some references for the engineering application of recycled concrete filled square steel tube-profile steel composite columns.
