Abstract: |
Considering that the existing damage identification methods may lead to false prediction of damage,this paper presents an improved method of damage identification of random beam structures under static loads on the basis of existing methods.At first,assuming that the initial model parameters,such as elastic modulus,geometric dimension and so on,of a beam structure and the measurement error are random,the static damage identification method of the beam structure reported in the literature is reviewed based on the stochastic finite element model.On this basis,an improved method is put forward by setting the threshold of damage probability index and a series of iterations.Two numerical examples and an experiment of beam structures show that considering the uncertainty of the initial model and the static measurement error,the improved method proposed in this paper can more effectively identify the damage of beam structures than existing methods. |
