Abstract:
      This study focused on an optimization problem of the multi-component layout design on a circular installing board.Firstly,a layout optimization model is established with the objective of minimizing the dynamic response of the system as well as meeting the equilibrium constraints.Furthermore,an optimization method,which combines the sequential quadratic programming method and an improved genetic algorithm,is developed to solve the model.Finally,the proposed method is tested with two examples.The computational results indicate that the proposed method can improve the dynamic performance of multi-component systems.
