Abstract:
A bidirectional coupling integration platform is established for studying the hydroelastic coupling in fluid-structure interaction of composite propellers. The modeling of composite propellers on ANSYS ACP module is explored. The modeling process of composite propellers and setup for fluid model and structure model are introduced. The static loading test validates the reliability of the composite modeling method with the max deviation of 5.1% and reflects presence of material anisotropy. The open water performance test in cavitation tunnel validates the accuracy of the fluid-structure coupling method with the good agreement with numerical results under the conditions of 12.7 rev/s and 25 rev/s.The fluid-structure coupling method for composite propellers based on ANSYS ACP module is found to be reasonable, which can provide references for the fluid-structure vibration analysis henceforth.
