Abstract:
      Multiscale Mixed Finite element method(MsMFEM) has been applied to the numerical simulation of compressible flow in porous media in this paper. From the point of fluid compressiblity and solid deformation, the multiscale formulas are derived. The method is applied to two different test cases. They demonstrate that MsMFEM is better not only in calculation speed but also in accuracy. The method is useful for numerical simulation of large reservoirs engineering practice.
