Abstract:
During the water exit process of underwater vehicle, the added mass is gradually decreasing. It is only the added mass values in certain states that are considered in some water exit models, instead of its whole rate of change. In this paper, the water exit model of an underwater vehicle is built, and force analysis is given. The set of dynamic equations of water exit is established. To simulate the water exit more accurately, the rate of change of added mass is included, and its influence on the water exit process is studied in calculating the ideal fluid force. The simulation results show that, taking rate of change of added mass into consideration can improve the computational accuracy of the model.
