Abstract:
      The uncertain parameters in engineering is considered as interval variables and the non-probabilistic reliability index of interval model based on particle swarm optimization is studied.Based on the conclusions that the non-probabilistic reliability index exists only in the line which through the vertex and the origin in the space extended by the standard interval variables and function,establish the optimization model based on PSO and improve the objective function to make it more conducive to calculate.Through a series of numerical examples and comparison with previous methods,the method is proved to be simple and accurate,and it has a certain feasibility.
