Abstract: |
EHL (Elastohydrodynamic Lubrication) of film is extremely significant in the process of gear transmission,in order to get the response analysis with effect of film lubrication,three steps were adopted here.First,the gear contact stiffness between mating surfaces was extracted from the static results based on ABAQUS/STANDARD.Second,the composite stiffness was obtained by combining the contact stiffness and the film stiffness.Finally,both static and dynamic FEM results were achieved by using the composite stiffness as the surface interaction behavior between the mating surfaces.Besides,the discontinuous phenomenon of the contact area was also studied.It is said that the maximum contact stress decreases about 30% when considering the effect of film lubrication,and the maximum tension stress in the tooth root drops 6.14%.This method may provide a basis for gear dynamics and optimal design. |
