Abstract:
      Explosive welding is an engineering technology for compounding of double metal plates.When the flyer plate impacts the based plate at high speed,plastic deformation and high temperature produce at combination interface of the two metal plates.Cycle wave formation and vortex flow appear at compound interface of the explosive welding.Formation of interface wave is direct dependence with plastic deforma-tion and melt.In this paper,material point method is applied to simulate wave formation and temperature field at compounded interface of the explosive welding,and experiments of the explosive welding are designed by using double metal plates.Then,wave formation and melt of interface material are studied by connection of numerical simulation and experimental research.
