Abstract:
      The water entry process of flexible fluid reservoir is simulated by fluid-structure coupling method based on Arbitrary Lagangian-Eulerian (ALE) multi-material formulation,which can easily consider the coupling between a variety of fluid and structure.The validity of the method was proved by simulating a plate impact onto water with constant speed,and the influence of air is also conformed.Then,the dynamic responses of the water entry of flexible reservoir were analyzed.The results indicate that air curtain under the bottom and the air at the top of the container have some buffer effect to the impact load,the shape of container bottom and the volume of the fluid reserved also have great influence.The simulation results can provide important theoretical references to the optimal design of the reservoir.
