Abstract:
      The geometric shape of the harbor is one of the most important factors that influences harbor resonances.This paper theoretically deduces the analytical expression of the resonance parameters in the closed regular hexagon.The Boussinesq model is used to simulate oscillations within a regular hexagon and its extensional shapes basins.The analysis is verified and energy distribution inside the basin is investigated.Furthermore,energy will concentrate on fewer modes when one side of the regular hexagon becomes a curve,which is against the mitigation of harbor resonance.
