Abstract:
By introducing the linear complementarity relationship between the relative displacement of the wheel and rail and the interaction force in the rigid contact model and elastic contact model, two analytical models considering the separation between the wheel and the bridge are established, which transform the dynamic interaction problem of the vehicle-bridge coupled system into a standard linear complementarity problem. Therefore the complex trial-and-error and iterative process in conventional numerical method are avoided, and the assumptions or iterative process for the determination of contact states are not required in the proposed method. The effects of non-dimensional mass, stiffness of the coupled system and running state of the vehicle on the dynamic magnification factors are studied, the separation regions due to the velocity ratio and the mass ratio (vehicle to bridge) are also investigated.Numerical examples demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.
