Abstract:
      Structural fatigue failure mode identification is one of the most important part of the structural system fatigue reliability theory.In this paper, a structural system fatigue failure mode identification method was proposed, which considered the corrosion factor.The corrosion fatigue damage model for structural component was introduced.The applicability of the model was also discussed.Some improvements for the global branching and bounding algorithm were made.As a result of the improvements, the algorithm could be adjusted to deal with both the non-corrosive and corrosive fatigue reliability problem.A method to determine the safety margin equation was also suggested.The oretical analysis and numerical example both revealed that the proposed method can be used in structural corrosion fatigue reliability analysis.
