Abstract:
      Uncertain parameters of base-isolated structure are described as convex model and uncertain earthquake ground motions are described as probabilistic model,a new method for calculating vulnerability curve of the failure of isolation bearing under near-fault earthquake ground motions is presented.The results of the calculation provide reference for the choice of the isolator's mechanical parameters;From calculation and comparison it can been seen that if the uncertainty of structural parameters aren't considered,the earthquake vulnerability of the failure of isolation bearing would been underestimated;According to the sensitivity analysis of the maximum base displacement,the mechanical parameters of the isolation bearing have great influence on the maximum base displacement followed by the mass of super-structure and the influence of the stiffness of superstructure is small.In addition,the study contents in the dissertation provide a new idea and approach to calculate the earthquake vulnerability curve of various structures,considering the uncertainty of structural parameters and earthquake ground motions simultaneously.
