Abstract: |
Based on the generalized coordinate principle,displacement model and geometric equation are established,and distortion shear stress is derived.By using he mixed variational principle,a distortion analytical theory and finite beam segment method is presented which can sufficiently take account of shear deformation.Based on the new theory,it is proved that so-called Bredt's pure distortion does not exist in box girder with single cell and single box section,and the definition of distortion center is clarified.Studies on the effects of distortion shear stress on deformation indicate that it can be neglected for common box girder. |
