Abstract:
      Expanding displacement constraint to displacement reliability constraint in structural optimization design.Based on the first super-failure criterion,the displacement reliability of structure under random excitation is analyzed by using the probability density evolution method (PDEM).Combining the genetic algorithm with the PDEM,structural size optimization design is executed to a 10-bar truss with displacement reliability constraint.The successful application of the PDEM in structural optimization design is achieved.This study provides a new way for the optimization design of structure under random excitation,also carries out the new attempt for the use of PDEM in structural optimization design.
