Abstract:
The contact load-bearing performance of elastic-plastic friction for rolling ball joint socket nozzle solid propellant rocket motor is elastic-plastic friction contact problem of complex structures under complex loads, and it directly determines the structure design and functioning of system. In order to ensure that the system to withstand the extreme working load, the nozzle does not produce a large axial displacement, there must be certain contact strength between the concave-convex spheres and rolling element, meanwhile does not produce excessive plastic deformation. In design stage,we solve the problem of elastic-plastic coupling algorithm on the basis of Lagrange multiplier method for the three-dimensional friction contact problem of high precision in calculation. We simulate the pendulous test on the basis of the rolling body movement analysis and frictional test, and we establish the elastic-plastic friction contact model in full consideration to surface strengthening layer. The finite element results, the pendulous decomposition test results and test results of system driving moment show that the elastic-plastic friction contact load-bearing performance of system to meet the structural design requirements; the result of finite element modeling and calculation are correct.
