Abstract:
      To investigate the foundation vibration induced by moving loads, the dynamic responses of elastic foundation by moving loads were concerned.Moving Element Method was introduced into semi-analytical method of single-phase elastic soil medium, and moving layered elements at the same speed with loads’ were formed.Based on the soil medium dynamic governing equations and boundary conditions in moving coordinates, the three-dimensional dynamic response quasi-static semi-analytical element equations of single-phase elastic foundation were established by applying weighted residual method.The effects of load speed and foundation damping on elastic foundation dynamic responses were calculated numerically.Meanwhile, numerical calculations carried out in this paper indicate that the quasi-static semi-analytical element method is effective for the calculation and analysis of the dynamic responses of elastic foundation by moving loads.
