Abstract:
      Based on Young and Ebrahimpour’s researches on characteristics of pedestrian-induced dynamic loads,a standard model of vertical walking load using Fourier series is proposed.The accuracy and usability of the model are verified by comparing with eight measured walking loads.Through the theoretical analysis,the relationships among root mean square (RMS) acceleration,dynamic load factor and phase are further discussed,and some valuable conclusions are obtained.
