Abstract: |
In order to simulate the compressible two-medium flow in high accuracy, the Runge-Kutta discontinuous Galerkin (RKDG) method combining the ghost fluid method has been applied to gas-gas/gas-liquid interface interaction with shock in this paper. The numerical results indicate that the RKDG method is a high order scheme in both temporal and spatial discretization. This method deals with multi-medium complex flow accurately and robustly.Several limiters of the discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method have been used to compute underwater shock refracting at a free surface, and the characteristic behaviors of these limiters have been analyzed in the end. |
