Abstract:
The response surface method for structural reliability analysis is often used when the performance function is unknown. The precision of iterative computation is difficult to improve for the anew constructed response surface is based on the big sampling windows, especially when the structure performance function which is highly nonlinear. The assured fundamental of sampling windows was put forward when the response surface is anew constructed and the sequential response surface reconstructing by reducing sampling windows method was set up. Several examples with comparative analysis showed that it could constringe iterative convergence speed rapidness and improve result's precision by using the improved method. It is suitable one for complex large-scale structure reliability analysis with least calculation of higher efficiency in which the non-linear performance function is unknown.
