Abstract:
      The elastic-plastic torsion problems described by an elliptic variational inequality are discussed in this paper. It presents the local differential quadrature method based on the Uzawa algorithm. Finally some numerical experiments are given, comparing with results of FEM, it shows that Uzawa-LDQ method performed better than FEM regarding accuracy, efficiency and computing time.
