Abstract:
      A local orthogonal element-free Galerkin method was proposed in this paper, which based on the research of the orthogonal basis function in the element-free method. The local orthogonal basis function has the same attributes as the primitive orthogonal basis function, but its derivatives have much simpler expressions, it is also convenient to program and has a higher computational efficiency. And it was used to solve the stress intensity factor of a multiple pin holes and cracks plate under uniform tension, the computing results was compared with those obtained by orthogonal element-free Galerkin method and Finite Element Method, which illustrated the correctness and feasibility of the local orthogonal element-free Galerkin method.
