Abstract:
      Riblet structure on airfoil has been studied by numerical simulation. The drag reduction characteristic of riblet structure is found, then the space’s influence law to riblet structure’s drag reduction effect is investigated ulteriorly. According to the characteristic of riblet structure, computation region, grids and flow parameters are dealt with reasonably. Results are as follows. Riblet structure still has good drag reduction effect on airfoil. Turbulent intensity and turbulent kinetic energy of boundary layer on riblet surface is lower than smooth surface obviously. Riblet structure with spacing has better drag reduction effect than that without spacing. Drag reduction effect reaches the best while the spacing size is equal to riblet structure.
