Abstract:
      The blast flow-fields of the explosion chamber with the diameter of 2 meters and its scale-down model have been numerical simulated by using the hydrodynamic code LS-DYNA. Reflective pressure cures of several characteristic points on the inner surface of the chamber are presented, the simulated results are compared with those of the experiments at typical position. The investigation results indicate that: elliptic end is preferable for explosion chamber than traditional spherical end owing to its more fierce shock wave convincing effect, when employing commercial code such as the LS-DYNA to simulate the blast flow-field, the mesh size should be chose as finer as possible, or the simulated results is just of the qualitative not the quantitative consulting meaning.
