By using the MD (Molecular Dynamics)method, the deceleration of (5,5), (7,7), (10,10) and (5,5)/(10,10) carbon nano-tubes is simulated in water; their curves of resistance-velocity and resistance-Re(Reynolds) number are obtained; further the MD results are compared with the theoretical results of cylinder in water, i.e. the classical MFD(Macroscopic Fluid Dynamics) results for low Re number. It is shown that, under the low Re number, the resistance of the carbon-tubes in water is higher than the MFD results by several ten times, and it can be estimate through the MFD results multiplied by (48.58-0.54Re). |
