Abstract:
A damage localization method based on the Combined Multiple Damage Location Assurance Criterion (CMDLAC) and genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed. Based on the damage scalar model and combined with the sensitivity analysis, the CMDLAC based on the change of frequencies and mode shapes between the undamaged and damaged states was proposed. The damage identification problem is transformed to the constrained optimization problem. Applying the genetic algorithm, the damage localization was realized through solving the objective function formulated by the CMDLAC. In the condition of the incompleteness of measured degrees of freedom and the measurement noise, the result of damage numerical simulation of truss model has verified the proposed method. It shows that the CMDLAC has the ability of localizing the damage and resisting noise and it is suitable to engineering practical maneuverability.
