Abstract:
A new curved boundary treatment is proposed for the Lattice Boltzmann method. With Cartesian coordinate, it is a combination of the exising treatment of boundary condition and immersed boundary condition. It adopts an interpolation to evaluate the node velocity near the physical wall, which provides at least secondary-order accuracy both in velocity and distribution fields. Once the node velocity is given, a variety of boundary treatment proposed previously can be applied to these nodes. Numerical test shows that it is more stable and has secondary-order accuracy.
