Abstract:
      This paper discusses viscous flows in Lid-driven cavities. Dual equations in Hamiltonian system are obttained and the original problem is reduced to the determination of eigenvalues and eigensolutions in the symplectic space. Because of the complete space of eigensolutions, adjoint relationships of symplectic ortho-normalization and expansion theory, a method is presented and the solution is closed. Some examples are given and show some characteristics in cavities. The method can provide a new idea for investigating other problems.
