Abstract:
      In this paper,the radial point interpolation method(RPIM) is suggested to fast analysis the wave characteristics in structures.A primary regular nodes location is introduced in the wave number-angle space,and an adaptive procedure is proposed to refine the subfield with large gradient of group velocity with respect to azimuth angle.The results from RPIM are compared to the results from original method.The error analysis validates the efficiency and accuracy of RPIM in the fast analysis of wave characteristics in structures.
