Based on the theory of numerical manifold method,the concept of generalized node is introduced into the Trefftz direct method.The fundamental theory together with numerical formulations is presented.The comparisons of the numerical results in potential problems indicate the superiority of this method over the Trefftz direct method and some other methods.
