Abstract:
      A simplified mechanical model for computing the vertical dynamic impedance function of single pile is established based on a certain assumptions and the improved dynamic model of beam-on-Winkler foundation by using the principle of soil dynamics and structural dynamics.Both the softening effect of soils around pile during vibration and slippage along the pile-soil interface are taken into account.The characteristics of the frequency-dependency of dynamic stiffness and damping of pile are reproduced.It is shown through the comparative study on an example that the numerical results of dynamic impedance of pile computed by the proposed dynamic Winkler model are relatively rational.All these provide the base for the nonlinear analysis of dynamic pile-soil-structure interaction system.
