Abstract: |
This paper studies wind-induced vibration control of Dalian International Trade Center using tuned liquid dampers.First, the simplified model of the structure was established and wind load was simulated by Davenport wind model according to the engineering condition. The actual samples of wind speed were obtained at the position of the building. The frequency spectrum of simulated wind load was compared with the one of measured, which verified the correctness of the simulated wind load. There is a water tank on the top of the building for daily use,so it can be designed to be shallow water tank and used as tuned liquid damper(TLD) to reduce structural response of displacement and acceleration.According to the numerical results of different cases, the optimal parameters of TLD was given. The results showed that TLD can reduce the structural response of the building and enhance the comfortableness of the building. |
