Abstract: |
Unstructured finite-volume numerical algorithm was presented for solution of two-dimensional shallow water equations, which based on the Roe type approximate Riemann solver to the interface flux. The MUSCL and two-step Runge-Kutta were used to get high order scheme in spatial and time, respectively.Characteristics decomposition methods used to the slope source terms and semi-implicit method used to the friction source terms kept the scheme stability and harmonious. The drop test presents that this model is high resolution, high order and well for the wetting/dry interface. The model was also used to the PanTouPao detention basin to simulate the flood of 1998. |
