Abstract: |
A new vibration-control system of combined multi-unit isolated structures was presented with its dynamic model and vibration equations established.Based on instantaneous optimum control algorithm, the control force was expressed in the form of damping force.Using fuzzy control method, this system was controlled by magneto-rheological dampers. The control features were analyzed through computer simulation and the results were compared with LQR's.The conclusions suggest that the vibration-control of this system is effective with earthquake responses declining visibly in every structure. At the same time, the fuzzy control doesn't need establishing accurate computation model but has an effectiveness contrast with LQR's.The energy input is reduced by using magneto-rheological dampers as controllers and it is easier to set up spring-dampers between the second and the third structure. |
