Abstract:
Based on the Reynolds-averaged N-S equations and Reynolds stress equation model(RSM),the numerical simulation of wind-induced pressure has been performed on a flat roof.Compared with wind tunnel tests, the computational results are in good agreement with the experimental data. The characteristics of wind pressure distribution and the flow characteristics are studied in considering of some parameters, such as wind direction,span-height ratio, roughness of terrain and wind velocity. At last, the flat roof is divided into twelve sub-regions whose wind pressure coefficient are provided according to the roof shape and the regularity of wind pressure distribution.
