A variety class of problems in engineering mechanics involves complementarity relations and some mathematical models are given in Ref..Here,we introduce some of recent important algorithms,such as projection,interior-point,NCP functions and unconstrained minimization methods.Meanwhile, our work on algorithmic improvements is also presented.
