Abstract:
      Optimization of tunnel supporting must be faced in railway tunnel construction,mine excavation and hydropower engineering.Study on topology optimization of tunnel supporting is very important.A reverse evolutionary structural optimization method is presented,which devoloped the criteria and iterative formation of optimization of tunnel supporting.The optimal topology of tunnel supporting in homogenous ground under various site stresses,which minimized the total strain energy,is studied.Results demonstrate the validity of the presented method, and the optimal topology of surpporting is circular or elliptic whose principle axes parallel to the derection of the maximum principal stresses.
