Abstract: |
Deformation behavior of single crystals and bi-crystals of metal were investigated by introducing slip into constitutive relationship to describe the hardening law of materials with hardening function. The results show that the law is consistent with experimental curves.3D model and finite element method in large deformation were used and the rate dependence of deformation was considered in analysis.Influences of rate dependence coefficient of single crystal subjected to normal tensile load were obtained.Multiple-slip is highly sensitive to orientation, while the single slip is lightly sensitive to [(1)-23] orientation. The deformation behavior of the single crystal and bi-crystal subjected to cyclic loading and normal tensile loading were simulated respectively, and the calculated results are consistent with experimental observations. The simulation results of deformation behaviors of crystal materials are reasonable on micro level. |
