Abstract:
Based on the one-dimensional unsteady compressible non-isentropic flow theory, considering the friction and heat transfer effect, compression waves generated by a high-speed train entering a tunnel with the mass transfer were numerically investigated. The equations in which the area of the tube is dependent on the time and the distance were numerically solved by the characteristic method with generalized Riemann Variable. The calculations were performed for tunnels with various hoods of which porosities and lengths are different. The results which were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed, show the correlative aerodynamic effect.
