Abstract:
      An effective analysis method for a linear rotor-bearing system subjected to random seismic excitation is presented in this paper.The pseudo excitation method and Runge-Kutta integration scheme are used in a numerical example.By means of Kanai-Tajimi seismic model,displacement response,the power spectral density of displacement response and time-dependent variance of rotor's displacement response under random seismic and harmonic excitations for a rotor-bearing system with four degrees of freedom are analysed.Influence of rotational speed on the time-dependent displacement response variance and influence of sampling frequency on the time-dependent displacement response variance curve are discussed.
