This paper deals with the solution of initial-boundary value problems of third-order nonlinear evolution equations.A Linearized and Rational Approximation Method was developed,based on differential quadrature method with Sinc-functions.The Korteweg-de Vries equation well exemplified the application of this method.It proves that this method is of high efficiency and accuracy.
