Abstract:
      In order to get the optimal damper of building structures, in the paper,a robust critical excitation approach is adopted.Considering it is difficult to acquire the frequencies action areas,modes transfer is used to lessen the high-order frequencies influence and reduce the search of frequencies action areas.On the premise that the structural anti-vibration effect could be assured,the real coded genetic algorithms is utilized to find the optimal damper in order to acquire a lesser total-damper-increment and feasible and simple optimization method.Meanwhile,by a numerical example,we find that it is favorable to put the bigger damper into the middle floor position.
